Emerge California – the state’s premier training program for Democratic women who want to run for office – is searching for our next permanent Executive Director!
This position provides an amazing opportunity for an experienced and successful leader to take the helm of a strong organization poised for continued growth and mission impact.
Since 2002, Emerge California has trained more than 850 women. More than 200 currently serve in elected office. During the last several years, we have increased our visibility, reach and effectiveness, increased our income, and expanded our program statewide, while increasing both the run and win rates as well as the overall diversity of our alumnae pool.
The next Executive Director will coordinate and execute strategic and operational plans, lead political fundraising efforts, oversee staff, manage budgets, and develop partnerships and relationships while representing Emerge California throughout the state.
