Denise Luu, Vice President of Global Policy and Public Affairs at East West Bank, oversees the bank’s public policy and government relations, leveraging her expertise in issue advocacy and strategic communications. Previously, she contributed to clean energy campaigns at Southern California Edison and worked at communications firms like BerlinRosen and Imprenta Communications Group, where her experience included championing causes from labor unions to AAPI community outreach for government initiatives. An alumna of USC and Cal Poly Pomona, she was named a top AAPI public affairs professional under 40 by the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs in 2022. As a board member of Emerge California, she is committed to supporting women of the New American Majority, particularly those of AAPI descent, in their political pursuits.
