Read moreShereda Nosakhare is a Policy Analyst and Community Liaison for Oakland City Council’s 4th District. In this capacity she supervises community related and/or generated projects. Ms. Nosakhare also works collaboratively with stakeholders to evaluate and develop legislative policies and analyzes and recommends policy positions on Community and Economic Development, Rules and Legislation, and Life Enrichment committees. Prior to joining the City of Oakland Shereda worked as a Research Analyst for Berkeley Policy Associates, and in the District Office of Congresswoman Barbara Lee. Ms. Nosakhare holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Portland, and a Master of Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, University of Michigan.
Shereda grew up in Oakland and currently lives in East Oakland. She and her husband welcomed twin girls in February of 2013.
