Read moreSarah Granger is the Project Director for the Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility, an organization dedicated to promoting socially responsible uses of information and communications technologies around the world. She served as a delegate to the U.N. World Summit on the Information Society in 2003 and is an active member of the U.S. Association for Computing Machinery Public Policy Committee. Granger previously ran the Internet campaign for former Senator Gary Hart’s 2004 U.S. Presidential “testing the waters” organization. She developed an innovative communications strategy and managed teams of web developers, online volunteers, database managers, content managers, and system administrators. Before taking on that challenge, Granger edited speeches and position statements for the communications team. Granger is a member of the Advocacy Committee for the Junior League of Palo Alto/Mid-Peninsula and recently participated in Andy Cohen’s campaign for Menlo Park City Council.Granger has an interdisciplinary degree in Technology & Society from the University of Michigan where she served as President of the College of Engineering student government and received numerous awards for leadership.
