After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley and serving as a Congressional Black Caucus Intern, as well as, a California Assembly Intern, Rosalyn decided to directly impact the lives of secondary students as a teacher in California, primarily in South Los Angeles. While teaching, she completed a Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in Social and Multicultural Foundations and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Trinity Law School, which is part of the larger Trinity International University. While earning her law degree, she was selected by the National Black Law Students Association to study the effects of Human Trafficking through its NBLSA C.A.R.E.S. International Program.
Since 2013, Ms. Lee has organized and led service trips to Haiti where she and other U.S. educators teach seminars, serving 75 Haitian educators and 8 Haitian schools on an annual basis. Most recently, Ms. Lee has been afforded an opportunity to open a free legal aid clinic in Inglewood, California with the assistance of an Illinois-based parent organization, Gospel Justice Initiative. This free legal aid clinic will provide legal assistance to individuals who normally would not be able to afford expensive legal fees associated with legal services.
