As a council member, she is concerned with managing the issues of traffic, affordable housing and homelessness, infrastructure, and civic engagement. As a sociologist of American culture and religion and the author of Coming of Age in Jewish America, Trish brings a social science perspective to office. In addition, she has spent her life nurturing groups and communities so they thrive: as Livermore resident, as parent and grandparent, as teacher and mentor, and as congregational leader. She ran a strong grass-roots campaign rooted in the skills she learned from her Emerge training.
