Read moreOlivia Anglade has dedicated her life service, specifically safe and affordable housing. She is a US Army Veteran, first generation Haitian-American and licensed civil engineer. During her childhood, she moved around the country and graduated high school in Seoul, South Korea while her father served in the US Navy. Olivia received her BS and MS from Stanford University on a ROTC scholarship. She served five years as an Engineer officer with her time spent between the US Army Corps of Engineers and construction units including a deployment to Mosul, Iraq in 2009 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2012, Olivia separated from the Army and moved to Haiti to support reconstruction efforts after the 2010 earthquake. Her work with US Agency for International Development included oversight of two housing developments for over 750 homes built by locals. In 2014, Olivia returned to California to pursue her MBA at UC Berkeley. Currently, she works in client services as a management consulting with The Boston Consulting Group. Safe and affordable housing is a key issue in her work as she continues to serve.
