As an advocate for local public schools, Noelani co-organized “Walk for Education” to raise awareness of budget cuts. She was a key contributor to the reorganization and redirection of the Santa Clara Schools Foundation, helping that organization focus on working more directly with the children they fund and improve their fundraising results. Her most prized project is Music Rivals — a district-wide music competition that inspires student creativity and collaboration. Throughout all of this work, she has remained on the PTA board at her children’s schools.
