During her term, she served on the San Mateo County Library Board and the Peninsula Clean Energy Board. In elected office, Lori worked hard to support progressive ideals on issues such as affordable housing, education, the arts, recreation, economic development, and the environment. During her term, she supported a regional approach to the Baylands Development, contributed to the adoption of the City’s first ever Precise Plan for Parkside at Brisbane Village, and approved of construction of the City’s new Brisbane Library. Lori supported efforts to raise the minimum wage, authored a letter affirming the City’s commitment to addressing climate change, and supported a sanctuary city resolution affirming Brisbane’s commitment as a diverse, supportive and inclusive community. As a proponent of education, Lori served on Brisbane Elementary School Site Council, and led the Brisbane School District Parcel Tax Campaign in 2018. She also served as the founder and volunteer teacher of the Brisbane Elementary School Public Speaking Club. She is active in the DemFems Silicon Valley, and has served as an ADEM Delegate for AD 22 since 2015. Lori has been practicing law since 2002, and currently practices law at Renne Public Law Group, a law firm dedicated to serving public sector and non-profit clients.
