Read moreLisa Jensen is a software validation specialist for Abbott Laboratories in Alameda and has served as a community leader in San Jose for the past decade. During the 2006 election year, Lisa served as Neighborhood Leadership Coordinator, Data Analysis Lead and as a member the Policy Advisory Team for the Sam Liccardo for San Jose City Council campaign. At the same time, she also served on the Women’s Steering Committee along with other responsibilities for Cindy Chavez during her campaign for Mayor of San Jose. She currently serves on the board of City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley, the University Neighborhoods Coalition which she co-founded, and Citizens for A Livable San Jose which she also helped found; Lisa is a member of the Downtown Neighborhood Leadership Forum, Democratic Activists for Women Now and the Democratic Women’s Forum of Silicon Valley.Lisa recently termed out after seven years as a Commissioner for San Jose’s Community Development Block Grant Steering Committee, serving the last four years as co-chair.
