Kim Carr is a native Southern Californian who grew up in Garden Grove and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in American Studies and Economics. She is longtime resident of the City of Huntington Beach and is serving her 5th year on the Public Works Commission.
Kim is a wife of over 20 years and a mom to two beautiful teenagers. She has spent the bulk of her professional career as a marketing sales professional in the broadcast industry and is currently the National Sales Manager at KUSI-TV, San Diego. In Kim’s relatively little spare time, she loves to see live music and go camping in her 2003 VW Eurovan Camper.
Kim is a strong advocate for resident’s rights and believes everyone in the city of Huntington Beach should have a voice at the table. She is passionate about our coastlines and is committed to insuring future generations will have access to clean and healthy beaches. She is a firm believer in public education and a patron of the arts. She is committed to making Huntington Beach a city that is beautiful, safe and a place where everyone would love to call home.
