Read moreErica A. Stewart is the Director of Parent and Student Philanthropy at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She’s a long-time volunteer and a staple in the San Luis Obispo community. Stewart has been a part of making SLO County a healthier and stronger community through her positions as Chief Operating Officer at United Way, Human Resources Manager, Business Development Director, as well as facilitator of a fiscal literacy program for women owned businesses.
An alumna of Cal Poly, she serves as the incoming President of the Cal Poly Alumni Association. She is a County Civil Service commissioner, a member of the Women’s Legacy Fund Advisory Committee, on the Goodwill of the Central Coast Board of Directors and is the past Chairperson of the Legislative Action Committee for the SLO Chamber of Commerce. Stewart earned her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.
Helping improve lives and achieving self-sustainability for all is her passion. Her volunteerism, philanthropy and career choices have been focused on education, diversity, homeless issues, growth for women and girls, small business success and economic vitality. Stewart understands the importance of healthcare, education and a thriving economy and the impact it has on local communities.
