Williams is the Economic & Community Development Manager for the March Joint Powers Authority where she leads the strategic planning efforts for MARS (Manufacturing Aerospace Research and Science), a regional initiative to attract Aerospace & Defense companies to a 3,300-acre job center in Riverside County. Grace has more than 15 years in the field of community and economic development, and manages complex entitlement projects for industrial, commercial, healthcare, retail and aviation companies. Grace is a strong advocate for early workforce development and was recently recognized as a 2017 Woman of Distinction for her outstanding contributions to communities within California’s 61st Assembly District. Grace also serves the Southern California region as a designated CALED Ambassador for economic development. Grace’s passion for sustainable communities grew during her social justice work with World Vision, Servant Partners and the Union Rescue Mission where she volunteered with homeless families, and mentored at-risk youth and children in South Central Los Angeles, for seven years.
