Her broad reach of activism has included leading a school district parcel tax measure to success, managing a winter homeless shelter site for 14 years, serving as Director of the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains, and staffing a highly competitive California State Senate campaign for now-Senator Henry Stern. Deborah graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University with a dual degree in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics. She currently works as District Staff for Senator Stern.
