During her free time, Annabel volunteers as a high school mock trial coach with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s College Track program. She has also served as an elementary school reading tutor at the local Bessie Carmichael school in the South of Market community.
While in law school, Annabel clerked with the U.S. Attorney’s office’s criminal division in San Francisco and with the Missouri Public Defender’s office. Before law school, Annabel worked as a legislative staffer for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein in Washington, DC and served as a Jesse Unruh California State Assembly fellow in Sacramento, California.
Annabel graduated cum laude J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis (J.D.) and with honors from UC Berkeley (B.A.). She is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
