Currently, she is the principal at George Washington Carver School of Arts and Science, the first public high school to implement Waldorf methods. A native of Fair Oaks, California, Allegra’s work has taken her to Washington DC, San Francisco, Caracas Venezuela, and most recently to Chengdu, China, where she is the directing the first Waldorf high school teacher training program.Mother of two, wife and rose gardener, Allegra lives with her family in the suburbs of Sacramento. She is graduate of Pomona College, earned a Masters at Georgetown University, and a Doctorate at UC Davis in Educational Leadership. In her spare time, Allegra enjoys reading and writing, swimming and running, and being a mom.
